Hello everyone! My name is Brett and I am a senior. I have attended St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes School since 9th grade, and from the moment when I first stepped onto campus, I have felt welcomed and appreciated by my peers as well as by the entire faculty and administration. That’s the kind of community you’ll find at SSSAS—warm, open, diverse, and accommodating to the interests and passions of every member. Teachers love to see their students work hard at their subject, and as a result not only succeed in, but enjoy the topics discussed. Students can craft their own extracurricular pursuits; if it weren’t for the countless opportunities available at SSSAS, for example, I would not be living my dream of sports broadcasting as I give play-by-play commentary for an assortment of varsity sports!
Speaking of my particular activities, I serve on the Student Council Association (SCA) and have done so since freshman year. I am the Co-President of both the QuizBowl trivia club (watch me on It’s Academic!! www.itsacademicquizshow.com for more information) and French Club (Le Cercle Français for all you francophiles out there) and am also a member of the Latin and Environmental Clubs. And most importantly, I try to promote overall appreciation for what SSSAS provides for every student: a sound, well-rounded education, a community which nurtures its every unique member, an enthusiasm for many facets of life, and the confidence to enter the “ever-changing” world mentally, physically, and spiritually prepared. I welcome you to our community and hope you experience my same fulfillment. ’Til next time, GO SAINTS!!!
