As the third quarter comes to a close next week, students are already looking forward to a much needed spring break vacation. Each year, SSSAS sponsors numerous oversees programs that are service and tourism oriented. Multiple French students will be taking part in an exchange program in Normandy during the break while others plan to travel to Haiti and Romania. For the first time in school history, SSSAS is taking a group of students from all four grades to Spain. This spring break, seven students and I will be traveling across the globe to China. We will spend half the trip in Beijing and plan to visit the Forbidden City and The Great Wall. We will then make our way down south to a city called Guilin where we will take a ferry ride along the placid Li River. I'm thoroughly excited to visit China and can't wait to experience this drastically different culture!

Spring Break!
