Second Semester Starts

After Snowpocalypse pushed back the conclusion of the first semester, the Upper School began the second semester this past Monday.  I am now fortunate to have F Period Free!  In APUSH, we are studying the women's rights movement and feminism, an topic that has major implications today.  My friend and I are currently producing a video on the Equal Rights Amendment.  Yesterday, the Junior Class spent the day in DC on an English field trip.  We saw the Tennessee Williams' The Glass Menagerie at Historic Ford's Theatre.  Having just read A Streetcar Named Desire, it was fascinating to see more of his work.  As the calendar turns to February, I am now two and a half weeks away from the start of baseball.  I am looking forward to get back out on the field, as the snow melts and the temperature rises!
